Halle Berry announced that she’ll be launching her very own fragrance with Coty.
Berry’s the latest in a long line of celebs to ink fragrance deals, including Jennifer Lopez, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Gwen Stefani.
"Halle is an iconic actress and symbolizes beauty to many generations," said Steve Mormoris, senior vice president of global marketing at Coty. "She adds another dimension to the celebrity fragrance market. Halle has always been a little more mysterious, not quite as open with her personal life as some other stars. Her fragrances will allow her to present another facet of her personality to her fans."
Expect to see her scent in major department stores in spring 2009. She likely was paid $3-5 million up front, with a royalty of about 5 percent.
But the former model has an even bigger project to work on at the moment as she is expecting her first child with model Gabriel Aubry.
The 41-year old met 32-year-old Aubry on a photo shoot in November 2005.
The actress has said in the past that she wanted to have children, but was not keen on getting married again.
Her previous marriages to baseball player David Justice and R&B singer Eric Benet both ended in divorce.
