Jennifer Lopez became a mom after she gave birth to twins early Friday, making the singer and husband Marc Anthony the parents of a boy and a girl.

Lopez representative Simon Fields told that the babies were born at 12:45 a.m. on Long Island with the 5-pound, 7-ounce girl arriving first, followed by her 6-pound brother minutes later.

"Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled and over the moon," Fields said.

Early this autumn was reported that the actress/ singer is pregnant, but the couple confirmed it later.

The trade publication Advertising Age reported earlier this week that People magazine was poised to pay the couple between $4 million and $6 million for exclusive U.S. rights to the first photos of the twins. So, stay close to us to be first who sees the photos of the celebrity twins.
Its’ the very first babies for the Lopez/Anthony marriage, but the 39-year-old salsa singer, has a daughter and two sons from two previous relationships.

Lopez and Anthony, 38, married in 2004.
