Katie Holmes decided to take part in the Boston, Massachusetts marathon later in April this year.
She even registered, but in the end gave up to the challenge.

To remind, that the wife of Tom Cruise finished New York City's marathon in November 2007 in five hours and 30 minutes. And, despite not meeting Boston officials' requirements to have completed at least one marathon in less than three hours and 40 minutes, Holmes has reportedly been given a pass to run the 26.2 mile (42.2 kilometre) race through the city on 21 April (08).

"Katie Holmes is not running in the Boston Marathon," her spokeswoman Ina Treciokas tells to t source.

Maybe a cause may be that fact that she is preparing for the next pregnancy. This can be an open clue, that Holmes is really on the way to her second child with Tom Cruise.
