Jessica Alba announced earlier this month that she is expecting a baby with her boyfriend Cash Warren.
Now, Jessica gives us other great news: the one that she is engaged.
The 26-year-old actress flashed a large diamond ring during a Boxing Day outing in West Hollywood, so the rumours revealed that she may be engaged.
"I can confirm that they are engaged," said Brad Cafarelli, Alba's publicist.
Alba and Warren, 28, have been an item since meeting on the set of
The Fantastic Four in 2004, where the son of Hill Street Blues star Michael Warren was working as a director's assistant and the actress was working as an invisible wielder of force fields.
The former Dark Angel star, who most recently played opposite Dane Cook in
Good Luck Chuck and screamed alongside Hayden Christensen in the anesthesia-gone-wrong thriller
Awake, is up next in the U.S. remake of the Japanese horror flick
The Eye, in theatres later this year.
Alba and Warren, 28, had split in July after two-and-a-half years together. They reunited in August, around the time their child was conceived.
A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: “He wasn't ready for marriage, and Jessica is. It's as simple as that. It's kind of cold that people are saying she has just finished with him, because it isn't like that."
Though the engagement is on, the wedding is likely to have to wait until after Alba gives birth.
The couple may have a beautiful wedding like Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes had, or maybe a secret one.
Well, they will decide how it will be.
