A third entry in the "Jackass" film franchise is set to bypass a theatrical release and premiere on the Internet, The Hollywood Reporter said.
Paramount Pictures Digital Entertainment and MTV New Media are co-producing "Jackass 2.5," a 64-minute flick comprised mainly of footage shot for "Jackass Number Two."
The new offering will be available online for free for two weeks, starting Dec. 19, courtesy of Blockbuster and its new online property Movielink.
Viewers can check it out at blockbuster.jackassworld.com.
After the initial two-week period, the movie will be available through different pay-per-view platforms, including iTunes and DVD, the trade paper said.
