EW magazine has named the smartest people in Hollywood.

The list is quite surprising.

There is a place for everyone in the list, so let’s role:

Will Smith get on the 5 position because he has revitalized and redefined old-fashioned movie stardom in an era when movie stardom has become small and suspect. And his son had demonstrated surprising versatility and a knack for picking blockbusters from an Oscar-nominated drama (The Pursuit of Happyness) to event-film spectacle (I Am Legend).

Meryl Streep deserves a six position because she has 14 Oscar nominations. At her 57 years old she looks good and doing better than at her 37.
George Clooney has a lucky 13 number, so he's turned Sinatra-style cool (the Ocean's franchise) into a dynamic modern career.

Robert Zemeckis is on the 18 position. If you did not know he is the director of the Beowulf movie. He won in 1994 for Forrest Gump Academy Award for Best Director. Zemeckis used the performance capture technology again in his latest film, Beowulf, which retells the Anglo-Saxon epic poem of the same name and stars Ray Winstone, Angelina Jolie, and Anthony Hopkins.

Johnny Depp has so much talent and smartness so he got on the 21 position. After piloting the Pirates franchise to $2.7 billion worldwide, Depp is playing a murderous, singing barber in the bloody operetta Sweeney Todd. Depp is an Academy Award nominated actor, best known for his frequent portrayals of offbeat and eccentric characters such as Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy.

Jodie Foster- on the 30 position is a two-time Academy Award-winning American actress, director, and producer. She has also won two Golden Globes, 3 BAFTA awards and a Screen Actors Guild Award, making her one of the few select actors to have won all four major motion picture acting awards (Oscars, Golden Globes, SAG, and BAFTA awards). She was chosen as smart because she has refused to conform to conventional ideas of female stardom. Foster's one of the most consistently bankable actresses, but she's never gotten stuck playing the lovesick beauty or cute comedienne. Instead, she's forged a cinematic archetype all her own: the female action hero who out-thinks the bad guys. Although The Brave One scared off audiences, Foster opened Panic Room and Flightplan on her star power alone, and she continues to have the field all to herself.

Angelina Jolie is the 33 smartest people is Hollywood. She deserved this place because she discovered the real value of fame. Meantime she is a envy woman, wife and mother, she continues to travel the globe as a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador, the world media in tow.

Sacha Baron Cohen is on the 34 position and recently became father. He shattered the film-comedy landscape with Borat, creating something blazingly new: guerrilla improv as social commentary. And he's about to try it again with another character — gay Austrian fashion journalist Brüno — after signing a massive deal with Universal.

Cate Blanchette gain the 45 because she handled so beautiful to play Queen Elizabeth I. Blanchett is focused on keeping herself fascinated with every role, and in the process, has become the heir apparent to Meryl Streep. She is also well known for her portrayals of the High elf queen Galadriel in The Lord of the Rings film trilogy and Katharine Hepburn in The Aviator, a role which brought her the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Ben Affleck is the last on the list. He got appreciate for this force to go on after he failed. After in a couple of years he find his goal of life: a liver and a sweet daughter. He adapted and directed Gone Baby Gone with the assuredness of someone who'd been waiting for this shot his whole life.
