The premiere of The Golden Compass was for
Daniel Craig and his girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell another chance to be in everyone’s attention.
The interesting thing at the premiere was that Craig denied signing on to do four more James Bond films. The rumours spread on web that Daniel Craig is going to appear in next four James Bond movies. Also was reported that the Bond team tied Daniel Craig to the franchise for the next 10 years.
“I never said that,” Craig said. “Well, that’s what’s been said, it’s not that it’s not true, because I haven’t signed up. What I’ve done is I’ve signed up on the next movie [Bond 22], after that we’ll see. That’s the way I’m doing it, and certainly it’s not four more — that’s the truth. It’s certainly not four more.”
Daniel Craig made his debut as James Bond in
Casino Royale.
Production on Bond 22 will begin early next year. It will be released in November 2008.
