Can you imagine
Tom Cruise will play in a comedian movie?
The Hollywood actor is set to shock film fans as a fat guy in
Ben Stiller's new comedy Tropic Thunder.
For this movie, Cruise will have to get fat. Photos of Cruise in a latex fat suit for his surprise cameo in the Ben Stiller movie leaked out on the Web this weekend. The producer team-asked to take them off because they are preparing a hell f a good comedian movie.
"Mr. Cruise's appearance was supposed to be a surprise for his fans worldwide, and the goal of Mr. Cruise, his team and the studio was simply to protect this surprise," a spokeswoman said. "Once again, paparazzi, in this case INF, and media outlets have ruined what should have been a fun discovery for moviegoers."
Tropic Thunder, about actors who go from making a war movie to starring in a real-life conflict, boasts a large cast, including
Jack Black, Nick Nolte,
Robert Downey Jr. and Stiller, who also directs.
Owen Wilson was to due to cameo in the film, but dropped out after his suicide attempt in August 2007. He was replaced by
McConaughey. There is a rumour that
Katie Holmes will play in the movie, along to her husband.
For the moment Tom Cruise is promoting his movie
