U.S. entertainer Marie Osmond's teenage son is in rehab, TMZ.com reported Wednesday.
During an interview on "Larry King Live" set to air Wednesday night, Osmond confirmed her 16-year-old son, Michael, was admitted to a treatment facility the same week her father, George, died at age 90.
"It's been a hard week," she told King.
She did not say what her son was being treated for.
In a statement issued to People, Osmond said: "My son Michael is an amazing young man, shown through his courage in facing his issues. As his mother, I couldn't be more proud of him. The press and public have always been kind and gracious in the past and I know they will continue to respect our privacy during this time."
