'Lost' repeats to air on Sci Fi, G4
The SCI FI Channel and G4 have secured the cable rights to ABC's Emmy-Award winning mystery-adventure series, "Lost."
The deal gives both SCI FI and G4 -- a network aimed at the male 18-34 demographic -- rights to existing episodes of "Lost," which the networks will debut in prime time in fall 2008, extending through all six seasons of the series, SCI FI said. "'Lost' is an incredible series that has captured the imagination of the viewing public, and SCI FI is extremely proud to add 'Lost' to our programming lineup," Thomas Vitale, SCI FI's senior vice president of programming and original movies said in a statement. "SCI FI's broad base of viewers will be able to experience the 'Lost' phenomenon -- many for the first time ever -- in a pure form, stacked in weekly mini-marathons, which we believe is the best way to get involved with this critically acclaimed program. Holmes to guest star on 'Eli Stone'
Hollywood actress Katie Holmes is to guest star on the quirky legal comedy-drama series Eli Stone, ABC said Monday.Holmes, who is married to actor Tom Cruise, is best known for her work on the former young adult show Dawson's Creek. She has also starred in the films Pieces of April,Wonder Boys and Thank You for Smoking.
