Keira Knightley the talented young and strong English star is enjoying of her new title as a duchess on the set of her upcoming film "The Duchess".
"The Duchess" is a film based on Amanda Foreman's biography of the scandalous 18th-century English aristocrat Georgiana Cavendish, Duchess of Devonshire. "The Duchess" is now to be directed by Saul Dibb. The film will star Keira Knightley as Georgiana Cavendish.
The make-up and hair design, both significant in a Georgian-set period piece, will be by Daniel Phillips. Other star that are involve in the movie are Hayley Atwell (Bess Foster), Dominic Cooper (Grey), Emily Jewell (Nanny) and more.
The movie is scheduled for release in 2008.
Knightley has since become a notable lead actress, having appeared in several Hollywood films and earning an Academy Award nomination for her role as Elizabeth Bennet in Joe Wright's 2005 adaptation of Jane Austen's "
Pride and Prejudice".
