The “Fast and the Furious” is a 2001 car film starring Paul Walker and Vin Diesel, and directed by Rob Cohen.
The next movie “2 Fast 2 Furious” stars Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson, Eva Mendes, Devon Aoki and Ludacris; and was directed by John Singleton. It continuous the first film action, involving more action and more powerful engines.
The third installment presents “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift” a 2006 motion picture directed by Justin Lin. The film features a new cast of explosive action in a different setting (Tokyo, Japan) from the previous two films.
This time the producer team is preparing a new engine-show in the next movie of the movie.
The story line of Universal's project is being kept under wraps, but fast cars are involved. The shoot will probably start in spring in Los Angeles, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
The producer team from the two first movies are negotiating to reunite for the next installment of the "Fast and the Furious" action franchise.
