The weekend involved a romantic intimate dinner at Asia de Cuba.
An onlooker told the New York Post newspaper, "They were very close and lovey. Something is definitely going on, and it's clear they are more than just friends."

Cooper starred in the ABC Family movie I Want to Marry Ryan Banks (2004). He played the villain in the hit comedy Wedding Crashers (2005) and appeared in the film Failure to Launch (2006) as a friend of Matthew McConaughey's character.
