Actor Michael Berryman - Special Guest at 2007 Eerie Horror Film Festival
The Eerie Horror Film Festival has announced that actor Michael Berryman, best known for his roles in Wes Craven’s “The Hills Have Eyes” and Rob Zombie’s “The Devil’s Rejects”, will be appearing as a special guest at their fourth annual event this October, 2007 at the Erie Playhouse and Avalon Hotel in Erie, Pa. (USA).
Berryman, who suffers from a rare disorder known as hydrochotic-extodermaldysplasia, is instantly recognizable to horror fans around the world for his portrayals of mutants, madmen and murderers, although he has also appeared in numerous comedies, dramas and action films. Berryman’s notable film appearances include turns in “One Flew Over The Cukoo’s Nest”, “Deadly Blessing”, “The Hills Have Eyes”, “Weird Science”, “Star Trek IV”, and “My Science Project”. The actor has also appeared in several television shows including “The X-Files”, “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and “Tales from the Crypt”.
He continues to act and has several film projects in the works. Berryman will be joining fellow celebrities Adrienne Barbeau (“The Fog”,”Escape from New York”), Dee Wallace Stone (“ET”, “The Howling”, “Cujo”), Tom Savini (“Grindhouse”,”From Dusk Till Dawn”), James Duval (“Donnie Darko”,”Independence Day”) and Ken Foree (“Dawn of the Dead”) at the upcoming Festival. Fleet Week parade canceled in San Fran
The parade of U.S. Navy ships that traditionally opens San Francisco's Fleet Week was scuttled Saturday because two warships were delayed by heavy seas.The ships -- the assault carrier Bonhomme Richard and the frigate Pinkney -- dropped out of the sea parade Friday because they could not get beneath the Golden Gate on time.
