Angelina Jolie has been praised for her humanitarianism and in-depth knowledge of global issues by former Secretary Of State Colin Powell, Star Pulse informs.
The political heavyweight has dismissed concerns raised by Jolie's critics that the actress has adopted three children and raised awareness on issues including Cambodian mine fields for her own gain.
"She's absolutely serious, absolutely informed. Her work with refugees is not something to decorate herself. She studies the issues. For her, it's not about saving the world, it's about saving kids. She doesn't need this. This needed her," Powell told Newsweek.
