Heather Mills has left Dancing With The Stars.
The model-turned animal rights activist was voted off the popular U.S. talent show April 24. Mills, who lost her lower left leg in a 1993 motorcycle accident, was the only contestant in the show's two-year history to wear an artificial limb.
She was also the first to read from a prepared farewell speech, in which she thanked her professional partner, along with the orchestra, makeup artists, costume designers, and fans. She also expressed happiness that her donated performance fee would benefit an animal rights charity.
Heather Mills' exit leaves six contestants standing: former 'N Sync member Joey Fatone; comic actor John Ratzenberger; Olympic speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno; country singer Billy Ray Cyrus; actor Ian Ziering; and the only remaining female contestant, boxer Laila Ali. //
