Jolie's mum’s letters to Angelina, Pitt and grandchildren

Angelina Jolie began carrying mementos of her late mother for comfort.

As BANG Media International notes Jolie’s mother, Marcheline Bertrand, died in January after a long battle with cancer and Angelina is now clinging to a baby blanket her mom made for baby Shiloh to remind her of her dead parent.

"The blanket is one of Angelina's favourite things. It's patchwork with the initials SP monogrammed onto it for Shiloh Pitt. Marcheline began making it in October, when she started getting worse", a source told In Touch Weekly magazine

Marcheline also wrote letters to Angelina, her lover Brad Pitt and her three grandchildren before the French actress died..

”The Good Shepherd” actress hasn’t shared the contents of the letter with her friends but does carry it with her.

"She finds it very comforting", the same source added.
