Schreiber's "awful" name not for his baby

Liev Schreiber said he is not to name his baby after himself.

The 39 year-old actor, whose girlfriend Naomi Watts is pregnant, thinks his forename is "awful" and will not pass it on if he has a son.

"It's probably the most oft-mispronounced name in showbiz.Yes, I'm going to be a dad... very exciting", “The Omen” actor told US talk show host Conan O'Brien.

Liev's comments were the first time he publicly recognized Naomi's pregnancy.

Naomi attended the Oscars showing off her baby bump.

"It's a very auspicious thing that my baby is going to be at the Oscars", said Naomi.
