Ellen DeGeneres’ stressful Oscar night!

Ellen DeGeneres began Oscar commentators to move their attention from what she's wearing to how she does her job.

DeGeneres felt the stress of the showbiz ceremony because she was constantly interrogated about which designer she'll be favouring on the red carpet.

But the talk show host was adamant she won't let fashion detract from her carefully prepared script.

"Everyone's pestering me about wearing a dress but it's out of the question. I just don't feel comfortable in a dress... and I just won't do it”, said the Academy Awards host.

"There's more pressure probably on what I'm going to wear than what my material is. I have a lot of really good jokes about Ben-Hur."
