The Queen Helen Mirren to be Queen Elizabeth II guest

Dame Helen Mirren is invited to meet British royal Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace in London, as screenwriter Peter Morgan confirmed.

Oscar nominee actress is favorite to win the Best Actress Academy for her portrayal of the monarch in “The Queen”.

“The Queen” director Stephen Frears and screenwriter Morgan, who are also both nominated for an Oscar, will join Mirren at a lunch meeting with Elizabeth II.

The movie focuses on the week following the death of Diana, Princess Of Wales, who lost her life in a high-speed car crash in Paris, France in 1997.
