James McAvoy and Star Trek controversy

James McAvoy added to rumors he is to play iconic character Scotty in the new “Star Trek” movie.

As FemaleFirst notes the Hollywood actor was not approached to play the role "in so many words", but he refuses to rule out the possibility of appearing in the latest episode of the popular sci-fi series, which is to be a prequel to the 1960s TV series and will be written by “Lost” creator Jj Abrams.

"I'm a very big Star Trek fan, you see, and, but, no, I couldn't possibly comment. (I haven't been approached) in so many words”, said the “Last King Of Scotland” star.

"I don't know to tell you the truth, I'm a Star Trek geek, fan, fanatic, so, anything about it could make me cry. But I'm not going to, I'm saving that for the talent show", added the actor.
