Smith battle for body like her late husband’s

The battle over Anna Nicole Smith's body is evocative of the quarrel that followed her late husband, J. Howard Marshall II death.

As the Los Angeles Times said Smith and the elderly Marshall's adult son broke up the oil tycoon's ashes and held two funerals.
According to UPI, Smith's estranged mother wants to take the model/actress body back to her home state of Texas for burial, while Smith's buddy Howard Stern says she would want to be buried next to her adult son, Daniel, who died last September and is buried in the Bahamas.

Smith's lawyer, Ronald Rale admits she would have found the court fight over her remains sad and the endless court battles upset her.

Given that her baby daughter's paternity and the status of Smith's inheritance from Marshall are still unsettled, the court battles are far from over.
