Dreamgirls Hudson on Vogue cover

Moldova.ORG -- Jennifer Hudson becomes the first African-American singer to appear on the cover of US fashion magazine Vogue, as FemaleFirst reports.

The “Dreamgirls” star is set to appear on the cover of the magazine's annual Power Issue next month.

Hudson follows in the footsteps of Oprah Winfrey and Halle Berry as only the third African-American famous person to grace the cover of the fashion magazine.

Famous photographer Annie Leibovitz shot Hudson for the publication by at Harlem's Apollo Theater in New York.
