Meryl Streep acting achievements more vital then looks

Moldova.ORG -- Meryl Streep puts her acting achievement down to not caring about her looks.

As Contactmusic notes the “Devil Wears Prada” star insists not worrying what you look like is a very important utensil when acting, but fears too many female actresses these days care too much about what they look like.

"I think the most liberating thing I did early on was to free myself from any concern with my looks. For an actress, worrying about appearance is a horrible, horrible trap. I didn't have confidence in my beauty when I was young. I felt like a character actress and I still do", the Oscar-winning actress says.
