According to FemaleFirst the spoof comedy lampoons new blockbusters “The Da Vinci Code”, “The Lord Of The Rings” and “X-Men”, beat off competition from gangster thriller “Smokin' Aces”, which took $14.3 million.
Family comedy “Night At The Museum” is still wowing audiences in third place, while new entry “Catch And Release” entered the charts in fourth place.
Oscar buzz surrounding award hopefuls “The Pursuit Of Happyness”, “Pan's Labyrinth”, “Dreamgirls” and ”The Queen” ensured they all stayed in the top ten.
