Moldova.ORG -- Katie Holmes is said to return to the big screen in her first movie role since 2005's “Thank You for Smoking”.
According to Variety Holmes is to star opposite Queen Latifah in the heist film “Mad Money”.
The film is based on the British “Hot Money” movie and tells the story of three female employees at the US Federal Reserve who hatch a plan to steal money that is about to be destroyed.
Callie Khouri, who wrote the screenplay for “Thelma & Louise”, is in the director's chair. 
Tom Cruise’s wife decided against starring in the sequel to “Batman Begins”, “The Dark Knight”.
