Moldova.ORG -- Derek Luke is set to star in “Lions for Lambs”, the Robert Redford-directed drama for United Artists, as Variety reports.
Luke joins a cast that includes Tom Cruise, Meryl Streep, Redford and Michael Pena.
The filming starts later this month on the first movie since United Artists was relaunched under the control of Cruise and partner Paula Wagner.
Luke plays one of two soldiers who find themselves cut off from their platoon in unfriendly territory in Afghanistan. They become the catalyst for some intersecting actions.
Matthew Michael Carnahan wrote the movie script.

Journeyman joins Grey's AnatomyABC is not officially confirming the news yet, but reliable sources say that Rome-ing Journeyman Kevin McKidd has just signed on the dotted line to join ABC's “Grey's Anatomy” for its upcoming season according to TV Guide.
