Moldova.ORG -- Antonio Banderas insists there is such a thing as love at first sight and points to his marriage with Melanie Griffith as evidence.
According to FemaleFirst the Hollywood heart-throb first spied the American actress at the 1988 Oscar ceremony and the “Desperado” star knew even then that they would eventually get married.
And when the pair met again in 1994 on the film “Too Much”, they quickly became an item and married two years later.
"The first time I saw Melanie was in 1998 when she was up for a Best Actress Oscar for "Working Girl". I remember her outfit - a white dress with pearls. I just knew one day we would get together, even though we didn't really speak", the Spanish hunk says.
