Moldova.ORG -- “Dreamgirls” took the major accolades at the 38th Naacp Image Awards after landing seven nominations on January 7.
The movie musical was among the Outstanding Motion Picture nominees, as the “Dreamgirls” soundtrack was nominated for Outstanding Album at the annual National Association For The Advancement Of Colored People ceremony, as FemaleFirst reports.
Beyonce Knowles, Jamie Foxx, Danny Glover, Jennifer Aniston and Anika Noni Rose all claimed top acting nods.
Medical drama “Grey's Anatomy” landed four nominations, while “Ugly Betty” picked up three.
In the music categories, Knowles and Mary J Blige led the nominees after landing four nods each.
Both will compete for the Outstanding Female Artist and Outstanding Song prizes.

Lifetime pays homage to Estelle GettyAs tribute to Estelle Getty, who passed on July 22 at the age of 84, Lifetime will be airing 10 episodes of the iconic comedy series “The Golden Girls,” Buddy TV informs.
