Dreamgirls tops at NAACPMoldova.ORG -- “Dreamgirls” took the major accolades at the 38th Naacp Image Awards after landing seven nominations on January 7. The movie musical was among the Outstanding Motion Picture nominees, as the “Dreamgirls” soundtrack was nominated for Outstanding Album at the annual National Association For The Advancement Of Colored People ceremony, as FemaleFirst reports. Medical drama “Grey's Anatomy” landed four nominations, while “Ugly Betty” picked up three. In the music categories, Knowles and Mary J Blige led the nominees after landing four nods each. Lifetime pays homage to Estelle Getty
As tribute to Estelle Getty, who passed on July 22 at the age of 84, Lifetime will be airing 10 episodes of the iconic comedy series “The Golden Girls,” Buddy TV informs. The ten-episode special will feature Getty in all her blustering, sarcastic splendor right from the show's pilot. The Golden Girls premiered on Lifetime in 1997 and ran for seven years.
