Sandler gave presents to cancer sufferers

Moldova.ORG -- Adam Sandler helped bring some Christmas optimism to two adolescent cancer sufferers by bringing them a sackful of festive goodies.

The “Happy Gilmore” star sent a PlayStation 3 console, signed DVDs and clothing to Stephanie Hudon, 15, and her brother Kevin, 18, after an appeal was launched to raise money for the family by their New Hampshire hometown of Concord, according to UPI.

Stephanie, who is planned for surgery early in January next year , thanked Sandler and fundraisers at a local school for collecting $21,000 for the cause.

""Everybody out there, I just wanted to say 'thank you' and my family thanks you", said Stephanie.
