Photo shoot allowed Ferrara to reveal her beauty

Moldova.ORG -- America Ferrera says she got pleasure from a magazine photo shoot that will allow her to show U.S. fans of "Ugly Betty" a more stunning side of her.

The actress told "Entertainment Tonight" her new photo shoot for a Jan. 2 issue of CosmoGIRL gave her a chance to enjoy a positive change rather than the makeup she naturally dons for her title role on "Ugly Betty", as UPI notes.

"It's a nice break from work, and I get to dress up and look all pretty as opposed to (getting) “Betty-fied”. It takes me just as long to do either one. So this isn't the real version of me either, just as neither is Betty", said Ferrera.

The 22-year-old actress said that while the photo shoot allowed her to reveal her physical beauty, her work in the ABC comedy brings up similar encouraging emotions.

"I actually feel so beautiful when I'm playing Betty. She has such a light and such a confidence that just comes out of her, and having to be in that character 15 hours a day ... I find that I'm a happier person because I have to be who she is most of the time" Ferrera also revealed.
