Witherspoon to return to her Southern roots

Reese Witherspoon fled Hollywood and moved back home to Charleston, South Carolina with her two children.

The Oscar-winner actress declared she was breaking up from husband Ryan Phillippe in October this year, after seven years of marriage.

The couple have two children, Ava Elizabeth, who is seven, and Deacon, who is just three.

According to New York Post columnist Liz Smith, the star was thoroughly disgusted with both marriage and her life in Hollywood and wanted to return to her Southern roots.

Witherspoon moved back to Charleston to be closer to her family and enrolled both of her children in local public schools.

The “Walk The Line” star lately stated she was coping with life after the split saying, "I'm doing fine. I'm getting out a little more now. You'll be seeing more of me."
