Ben Affleck threatened film bosses he'll star in the “Baywatch” movie adaptation if they don't give him another directing job.
The “Pearl Harbour” star wants very much to quit acting, as he prefers to concentrate on working behind the camera instead.
And he's given producers an ultimatum, either employ him again after seeing his directing talents in approaching release “Gone, Baby, Gone”, or he'll take on David Hasselhoff's role in “Baywatch”.
"I hope that people like the movie enough that they would hire me to direct another movie. If not, it's strapping on those Speedos, getting on a surfboard and doing the film adaptation of Baywatch," said Affleck quoted by Contactmusic.

“Gone, Baby, Gone” is Affleck's second foray into directing, as his debut was 1993's "I killed my lesbian wife, hung her on a meat hook, and now I have a three-picture deal at Disney."
