Spielberg honored at International EmmysSteven Spielberg was honored last night at the International Emmy Awards for his "long and distinguished career in television", according to rte.ie report. Graham Norton hosted the ceremony which honored television programmes produced outside the US. It took place at the New York Hilton Hotel. Six of the nine programming prizes were given to British TV productions. The BBC's “Life on Mars” was named best drama series. “Little Britain” took best comedy for the third year running. “Nuit Noire”, a French made-for-TV movie was the winner of the top prize for TV movie or mini-series. Ray Winstone was named best actor for ITV drama “Vincent”. And Maryam Hassouni won the best actress trophy for her role as a Palestinian terrorist in the Dutch TV movie 'Offers. Weird Al releases cover of 'Whatever'
