A New York house once shared by actor Brad Pitt and actress Gwyneth Paltrow while they were dating, was reportedly sold by the latter's mother, Blythe Danner.

”'The Greenwich Villag”' is said to have fetched Danner 1.8 million dollars, reports Contactmusic.

The two-bedroom apartment, which was used by Pitt and Paltrow when they were engaged in the 1990s, faces Washington Square, according to magazine Gotham.

Paltrow broke her engagement to Pitt in 1997.

From 2003, Paltrow is with “Coldplay” lead singer Chris Martin, with whom she has a two-year old daughter, Apple, and a son, Moses, born in April this year.

Pitt is in a relationship with Hollywood beauty Angelina Jolie. They have two adopted children, Maddox and Zahara, and Jolie born daughter Shiloh Nouvel.
