Gillian Anderson mum for second time

Gillian Anderson became a mum for the second time, as she was giving birth to premature baby boy Oscar.

”The X-Files” actress welcomed her six-pound, eight-ounce son into the world at London's exclusive Portland Hospital on November 1, three weeks before he was due, as irishexaminer.com reports.

The new mum and her boyfriend Mark Griffiths have only just publicized the birth because they wanted to wait until Oscar was out of intensive care.

"Both mother and baby are doing fine now", said Gillian’s spokesman.

Anderson also has a 12-year-old daughter, Piper Maru, with “The X-Files” art director Clyde Klotz.
