George Clooney, who was voted People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive for 2006, insists Matt Damon deserved the title.

"I have to say, this is a very big disappointment for Matt, because he did run a very good campaign. If you have been around him, you know he's sexy. His eyes pop. They have a twinkle. He's got a good smile, he's quite the dancer. He does rock a Speedo in “Ocean's Thirteen”", said Clooney joking, quoted by Monsters and Critics.

George says his “Ocean's Thirteen” co-star even sought his advice on how to win the title next year.

"Matt came to me like a politician would go to Bill Clinton. I told him, 'I think you should go with a snakeskin suit and some mousse and give a sort of up-on-your toes pose. I'm afraid he's going to think that I was using my influence to quietly, secretly take him down. But really, Matt's got a couple of years left before it's time for him", said George.

The 45 year-old George is only the second person to be honored with the coveted title twice. The first was another one of his “Ocean's Thirteen” co-stars, Brad Pitt.
