According to PEOPLE, Patrick Swayze celebrated a happy 56th birthday this Monday.
He spent his day on the Chicago set of his A&E series, The Beast, and his colleagues didn’t miss the chance to make surprises.
The crew, which had decorated his trailer for the occasion, presented him with a birthday cake. Moreover, the crew members were wearing matching black shirts with white letters saying "Crazy for Swayze," with a picture of the actor. They all surrounded him and sang "Happy Birthday" as well. Swayze was all smiles and looked extremely happy.
The actor has remained in good spirits during his cancer treatment. Last month, he told photographers and fans, "I'm a miracle, dude ... I don't know why."
