Angelina Jolie to replace Tom Cruise in thriller movie

A new film is being rewritten due to Angelina Jolie.

The original script for the espionage thriller Edwin A. Salt was originally written for Tom Cruise, but Jolie apparently liked it so much that the role was changed.

According to Star Pulse, the actress is said to be close to signing the deal to play the title character in the movie, which will change name if she does agree to take on the part.
