90210 is a teen television drama created by Rob Thomas. It is the fourth series in the Beverly Hills, 90210 continuity. The show is scheduled to premiere in the USA on The CW Television Network in September 2, 2008 with a two hour series premiere event.

The cast team is also quiet surprising. The first actor to be cast was Dustin Milligan as Ethan Ward, followed by AnnaLynne McCord. Actress/singer Hilary Duff was rumored to have been offered a part on the spinoff as Annie Wilson, a theater and music student, but she told reports that it was "not true".[7 The role was filled by Shenae Grimes, most well-known for her role as Darcy Edwards on Degrassi: The Next Generation.

The biggest surprise is that Shannen Doherty will be bringing Brenda back to her old zip code.

“Shannen Doherty will be returning to 90210,” executive producer Gabe Sachs said during the Television Critics Association press tour in Beverly Hills on Saturday.
Brenda is expected to playthe director of West Beverly High’s musical.
The drama about Beverly Hills angst and affluence premieres Sept. 2.
