Tom Cruise’s motorcycle mania

Tom Cruise and his beloved wife Katie Holmes bring a bit of Hollywood to the pit lane at the Red Bull US MotoGP World Championship on Sunday at the Laguna Seca track in California.

MotoGP is the world’s premier motorcycling championship, with a season of 18 Grand Prix in 16 countries.

Tom Cruise is set to star in a 'Top Gun' sequel. The actor has been asked to reprise his role as cocky fighter-pilot Maverick, 22 years after the first film.

A source said: "The idea is to pick up the story of Maverick 20 years after the first movie. He is still at Top Gun school as an instructor but this time the roles are reversed and it is he who has to deal with a cocky new female pilot."
