New 'Office' webisodes set to air

NBC.com announced Tuesday that new webisodes of the U.S. television comedy The Office are set to go live this week.

The second series of webisodes, based on the NBC show about the people who work for the Scranton, Pa., branch of a paper company, is sponsored by Comcast, Sony Electronics and Priceline.

The webisodes are to debut Thursday on NBC.com, Vivi Zigler, president of NBC Universal Digital Entertainment, announced Tuesday.

'The Office,' the show that pioneered webisodes two years ago, is back with another clever installment, Zigler said in a statement. The huge online fan base will love seeing the exploits of Kevin, Oscar, Darrel and the gang as they figure out Kevin's financial future. It's a great summer treat for anyone who likes the show.
