An exhibition featuring the drawings and sketches of U.S. singer-songwriter Bob Dylan opens next month in London, the Halcyon Gallery said.

The BBC Tuesday said the works are from Dylan's travels from 1989 and 1992.

Feelings of anonymity, transience, rootlessness and sometimes loneliness pervade these representations of the people, objects and places that Dylan has seen and drawn, the gallery said of the singer's etchings.

This is an incredible opportunity for viewing this powerful body of work which gives an insight into the artist's soul and which have already been the subject of widespread critical acclaim, the gallery's president Paul Green told the BBC.

The first exhibition of Dylan's work opened in Chemnitz, Germany, last year and was well received.

The London show is to open June 14. A collection of limited-edition graphics, signed by Dylan, will also be available at various British galleries, the BBC said.
