Jessica Simpson gets hospitalized

Jessica Simpson has health trouble. The star has been admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles due to a small kidney infection, reports In Touch.

“She checked in on Friday morning because she was feeling achy and had a fever,” a family friend confirmed.

Over the weekend, Jessica was kept for observations and is expected to be released Tuesday morning.

“She is doing fine, but she is ready to get out of there,” added the friend.

Jessica’s boyfriend, Dallas Cowboy QB Tony Romo is currently in Dallas.

Poor Jessica she is all alone. But she is a tough girl, she’ll make it.

Simpson’s movie credits are The Dukes of Hazzard.

Simpson's second film, Employee of the Month, was released October 6, 2006. With poor reviews, the film took in $11.8 million in its opening weekend, debuting at #4 just behind Open Season.

Simpson's third film, Blonde Ambition, was released in December 2007. Filming for the movie "The Witness", a spy comedy, had been scheduled for the same time but has been postponed.
