TV network ABC is developing a reality competition based on the hit Disney film franchise "High School Musical".
Aspiring performers will audition in a nationwide talent search, with successful contestants studying at a music conservatory to hone their talents and competing weekly until a winner is chosen, Star Pulse informs.
The series' top prize has not yet been revealed. ABC is aiming for a summer airing date for the multi-episode High School Musical reality series.
