Winslet is delighted with "solid man" Dicaprio
Moldova.ORG -- Kate Winslet is delighted with the way co-star Leonardo DiCaprio has handled celebrity after “Titanic” became a worldwide sensation, as FemaleFirst reports.
Both movie stars were in their early twenties when they were thrust into the international spotlight after the blockbuster's release.
Winslet is happy DiCaprio has become a "solid man" after at first struggling with being labeled a sex symbol.
"He hasn't done as many films as I have over the last ten years and it has really worked for him. He's a very different person now. I'm so proud of him. He's really a solid man, very compassionate. He does a lot for charities and the word charity probably didn't mean much to him back then”, the British actress said.
"The world, the issues, and the people who are suffering within the world, are very important to him. And he's still giving great performances", added the “Titanic” star.
