To invite Grant, Hurley admitted it could be too sad
Elizabeth Hurley decided to leave Hugh Grant off the guest list to her English country wedding party, as she thought it would be too "sad" for both of them, according to TeenHollywood.
The 41 year-old model wed long-term love Arun Nayar in a secret civil ceremony on Friday, before celebrating with a string of famed friends at Sudeley Castle in Gloucestershire the following day.
Ahead of the wedding, Grant would attend the party because of his close friendship with Hurley, however she now admitted he wasn't invited.
"We decided not to invite either Hugh or Arun's ex-wife Valentina (Pedroni). We adore our exes but we thought it would make all four of us feel a bit sad", said the newlywed Hurley.
She and the “Notting Hill” actor ended their 13 year relationship in May 2000.
