The very first photos from the Wolverine movie
X-Men Origins: Wolverine is an upcoming film based on the fictional Marvel Comics character Wolverine, due for release on May 1, 2009. The film is directed by Gavin Hood and stars Hugh Jackman as the title character. It is a prequel to the X-Men film trilogy, focusing on the mutant Wolverine and Team X, before his skeleton was bonded with the indestructible metal adamantium.
The film also stars Liev Schreiber, Danny Huston, Ryan Reynolds, Will i Am and Dominic Monaghan. X-Men Origins: Wolverine is out next summer.
"'Wolverine's producers have chosen Sydney as the base for this production ahead of Canada, thanks to our key infrastructure at Fox Studios and our talented crew base," New South Wales Premier Morris Iemma said in a statement.
