“The Queen” reigns at Golden Globes
Moldova.ORG -- British actress Helen Mirren was among the big winners at the Golden Globes, being awarded in two categories.
Mirren won the Best Actress (Drama) award for her portrayal of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II in ”The Queen”.
She was also named Best Actress in a Miniseries or TV Movie for “Elizabeth I”.
“The Queen”‘s writer, Peter Morgan, also won the award for Best Screenplay.
“Babel” won the Best Film (Drama) award, while Martin Scorsese was named Best Director for “The Departed”.
Forest Whitaker took home the Best Actor (Drama) award for his performance in “The Last King of Scotland”. 
About musical “Dreamgirls”: Eddie Murphy was named Best Supporting Actor, while his co-star, Jennifer Hudson, was named Best Supporting Actress.
And of course “Dreamgirls” was named Best Musical or Comedy.
The Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy award went to Sacha Baron Cohen for “Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan”.
Meryl Streep won the award for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for “The Devil Wears Prada”.
Clint Eastwood's “Letters from Iwo Jima” was named Best Foreign Language Film, while “Cars” won the award for Best Animated Film.
The Best Original Song award was given to Prince for “The Song of the Heart” from “Happy Feet”, while Best Original Score went to Alexandre Desplat for “The Painted Veil”.
The Cecil B DeMille Award went to Warren Beatty.
