'The Hills': season premiering in April is the last
The newest season of The Hills, premiering April 27 on MTV, will be the show’s last.
The L.A. based show will end its run after six seasons. “I think we’ve told the story of struggle and of finding yourself in L.A.,” creator Adam DiVello tells EW. “A lot of these kids have found themselves and have certainly embarked on different careers and different paths.”
Adam also cleared up rumors about Spencer Pratt’s involvement with the forthcoming season - “Spencer is dealing with some stuff right now,” Adam shared, “and once he gets through that, we’ll be back to shooting with Spencer again. Bottom line is you will see him. He’ll be in most of the episodes.”
“In the final 12 episodes set to begin airing on April 27 at 10 p.m. ET, fans can expect to see Audrina Patridge dating singer Ryan Cabrera and Kristin Cavallari dealing with rumors of drug abuse. ‘When Kristin was in Miami for the Super Bowl, there was definitely some late nights for her and some speculation that she might be partying a little too hard,’ explains Gateley. ‘So we’re definitely going to cover that part of Kristin. We’re pretty much covering everything you’ve read [about in the tabloids].’ Also look for Stephanie Pratt to be dealing with sobriety, coming off her DUI last year,” it was said.
